Who is MECOSOFT ? Well, we are a group of 4 friends, of course, PC fans and programming maniacs (more or less…). It's simple to understand that we love action, real-time strategy and adventure games. But our first hobby is to make great and high quality programs. Until now we have produced some DOS programs, one Windows95 CD Player and an Uninstaller for Windows 95, 98, named Remover 98. The DOS software includes some programs, one text manager, a learning program and games. Also, we have created lots of levels for games like Warcraft 2, Heroes of M&M II and Red Alert .
Below it's our software list and a short description:

REMOVER 98 beta test now !!!
First release: 1999
Price: $8
Format: One 1.44Mb floppy disk, WINDOWS 95, 98;
Remover is a simple and powerful tool designed to keep your disk in shape by removing unneeded files, computing usage rate and many more.. WARNING! This is the Beta version of the program, which means that not all the features are yet implemented and not all the implemented features work properly. For bug report and improving suggestions we rely on your feedback.
First release: 1997
Price: $4
Format: One 1.44Mb floppy disk, DOS;
This program is specialized in changing ASCII messages contained by files of any kind (text files, data files, programs) and of any length. It has searching and replacing facilities, the possibility of inserting any code (this includes characters with ASCII codes below 32 and above 127) anywhere in the document and any more. The typing is done by overwriting the old messages, which determines the changes to take effect almost immediately as you input the new text. The searching and replacing functions are now more flexible; you can find & replace not only text, but code sequences of any kind; (and more...). The interface is now much friendlier and easier to use.
First release: 1997
Price: $6
Format: One 1.44Mb floppy disk, Windows 95, 98;
The program runs under Windows 95 or Windows NT. It is a CD Player with some new facilities (compared to other similar products). When you insert a new CD into the CD drive, the program asks you to give the CD a name (it will be recognized when you play the CD again, and it will be displayed on screen). The names of the melodies can also be memorized and they will be recognized. The program saves automatically the 'identity' of a CD. The playing order of the melodies can be changed at will.
TRIADS :
First release: 1997
Price: $5
Format: One 1.44Mb floppy disk, DOS;
'TRIADS' is a mind game which can be played by 1, 2 or 3 players; each player can be guided by a human user or by computer. The game is played on a star-shaped board, with six corners. Each player must conduct his pawns from one corner of the board to the oposite corner. The pawns can be moved one position at a time or by jumping over other pawns (these pawns are not removed from the board). The final, comercial version includes options such as: clever computer oponents, keyboard and/or mouse controls, the possibility of choosing the appearance of your team, background music.
First release: 1997
Price: $7
Format: One 1.44Mb floppy disk, DOS;
The program allows the user to examine the behaviour of the light rays in contact with structures of lenses. Any element of the image can be modified separately and it is also possible to add new elements or to remove existing ones. The images can be stored on disk for further usage. The program is extremely useful in the process of learning physics and it should be a part of the software library of any highschool.
CD Player 2 :
First release: 1997
Price: $4
Format: One 1.44Mb floppy disk, DOS;
A complex CD Player for DOS. It includes many features that can be found in most comercial CD players and a few completely new functions !
